Klaus Kneale, Co-Founder Katerva Awards and Media Advisor
Klaus is a talented writer with a passion for social responsibility. He possesses a wide range of skills covering everything from digital media to corporate communications. Prior to joining the Katerva, Klaus was editor of the CEO Network on Forbes.com. There he covered corporate governance and social responsibility. At the same time he led creative direction for a news and opinions page and a private social network dedicated to C-suite individuals. Klaus brings with him an extensive network of CEOs and experience helping corporations and executives tell their stories.
Aleid Uhl, Senior Communications Advisor
Aleid has served as a corporate communications advisor at a senior management level on both the agency and the client side. This has provided her with a rich understanding of what it takes to create and manage large and complex communication programs. In her role as Senior Communications Advisor to Katerva she has played an instrumental role in helping us craft and implement a dynamic, state-of-the-art communications program that uses both new and traditional media. Aleid is also an accomplished sculptor and sculpting instructor.
Ron LeClair, Special Advisor to the CEO
Ron is a partner in a national law firm with a passion for the links between international trade and other compelling global issues such as labor regulation, the environment, market access and human rights. He is interested in reconciling these various concepts as a means of promoting global sustainability. Ron is constructing an organized and strategic approach to rooting out great sustainable innovations for Katerva. Ron lives in London, Ontario.
Patricia Bader-Johnston, Tokyo Chapter
Before founding Silverbirch Associates in 2008, Patricia held senior roles in a number of leading companies over a span of 25 years in Japan. She has also served in the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo as a senior program officer in Communications and Culture, and has worked with Japanese local government since arriving in Japan in 1984. She is an active speaker, writer, panel moderator and university lecturer on topics related to Communications, CSR and sustainability, globalization trends, and doing business in Japan. Patricia holds an MBA in International Business from McGill University.
Tyler Schaeffer, New York Chapter
Tyler is a passionate media champion for the isoquantic age. He devises innovative social marketing platforms that transform the way people interact with and perceive Brands, delivering experiential and exponential value exchanges. Tyler advocates a holistic brand communications experience through the digital convergence of all media for global blue-chip consumer and b2b marketing companies, associations and non-profit organizations. Tyler is a media industry leader, recognized for his creativity at Foote Cone & Belding Advertising (IPG) and MindShare Global Media Network (GroupM, WPP). Tyler is a sought after speaker and contributor to many global organizations, and recipient of numerous industry honors and awards.
Lauren Latour, Administrative Assistant
Lauren is currently a senior student residing in London, Canada. Hoping to attend university and study Environmental Studies, from a young age she has always displayed an enthusiasm for environmental and humanitarian activism. Engaging in many local and international initiatives (several of which she has coordinated herself) Lauren has been recognized as a leader in both the London community and her school for her efforts in such organizations as Me to We, The Optimists of London, TREA (Thames Regional Ecologic Association) and her school Environmental club.
