WAFFCO, Waste-Fuel Free Combustion, is a closed biomass burning stove for households. Simple and cheap to produce, it is constructed mainly of clay and metal and designed to replace open-fire stoves. It serves as a free cooking technology since it is fired with the agricultural waste generated as well as domestic and packaging waste material. Not only does the stove ensure a safe cooking atmosphere compared to local conditions, the emission and safety parameters are in accordance to German and European standards.
One of the major reasons of death in developing countries is the pollution that has been created y the indoor stoves.
By inventing a stove to burn the waste with a simple flue gas corridor-shaped chicane system to filter all the hazardous fume.
By using this system, they would solve two major problems; the waste management and to create a safe energy source from the waste material.
It needs agriculture waste to burn. It would have a restriction in the areas that it's not available.
The primary cause of the death in the developing countries is CO2 leakage in the indoor stoves. It also would raise the risk of respiratory illnesses such as bronchitis and pneumonia.
