Daniel Scott Canada Research Chair in Global Change and Tourism & Director of the Interdisciplinary Centre on Climate Change, University of Waterloo

His research interests are in the social, economic, and environmental processes of global change and their implications for the international tourism industry. He focuses on reducing the vulnerability of tourism-dependent communities to risks associated with global change, most notably climate change. Scott holds a PhD, MA, and a BSc in geography from York University, the University of Waterloo, and Brandon University, Canada, respectively.
